How to make ulundu wade ( Medhu Vadai / Ulundu Vadai / medu vada )

The correct way to make "Ulundu Vadai"

Today we are going to make ulundu wade.also it called medu vada ,Medhu Vadai ,Ulundu Vadai,urad dhal vada.

First, let's see what kind of material is needed

Ingredient list 
1. One table spoons of roasted  urad dal (ulundu)
2. One table spoons of roasted white rice
3. Curry leaves 
4. 2-3 green chilies 
5. One table spoons of crushed black paper
6. One big onion 
7. Salt to taste 
8. Coconut oil

How to make
✪ Take one cup of urad dal (Ulundu) and wash them well
✪ After washing add water to cover ulundu and soak it for 6 or 7 hours

✪ Now roast  one table spoons of white rice and ulundu (Roast until goldern brown on low flame )

✪ Next let it cool down few minutes (Roasted white rice and ulundu ) 

✪ Now grind roasted ulundu and white rice until fine powder, After keep it aside for later use

✪ Cut the curry leaves for  Small pieces (as much as possible to Small pieces)

✪ Next cut green chili until small pieces 

✪ Next cut big onion to small pieces

✪ Now strain soaked urad dal (Ulundu) and keep few minutes until dry 

✪ Next grind soaked urad dal (Ulundu) until paste

✪  Next step put grinded ulundu (urad dal) to dry pot and add green chili,black paper,curry leaves also add salt to taste now mix well Note→After mix well all finally add big onion to it and mix again

✪ Now add roasted white rice powder and Ulundu powder to it and mix well (we prepared earlier )

✪ Take a piece from paste to hand and Make a ball shape after make a hole in the center of the ball

✪ Next take oil and heat well after slowly drop it to heated oil (Try to do this carefully reason heated oil can damage to your hand,finger)

✪  Now when one side is fried , turn it the other side using stick 

✪  Fry "Ulundu wade" until golden brown
